The main sources of data in this CD-ROM include:

The following data are considered as complete, notwithstanding skippe entries and mistakes:

• Marriages in Québec from 1621 to 1825 (linked to 1765)
  
• Marriage Contracts in Québec from 1621 to 1766
• Acadian Families from 1632 to 1714 and Acadian marriages until 1755
• Marriages in Western Forts and Louisiana until 1765
  

The list will be extended with the new releases.

Most codes are detailed in the short bibliography under the family sheet.  The following list gathers the works consulted for the whole database even if some of then doesn't concern the years covered by this CD-ROM.

The sources are presented by category.  In some cases, the choice of the category is not yet the best and more data will be added later.

Important : they are sources explored for the whole database.  Since the author publishes also family trees from the same database, some sources don't apply to this CD-ROM.
