The following lists are available for French genealogy newsgroups:

GEN-FR-L (newsgroup soc.genealogy.french, that is, about French ancestors,
mostly active in North America and often in English). This is a rootsweb
list. Most messages are about Quebec ancestors, then Acadian and
Louisianese, and finally you will see posts about France roots, Huguenots,
and people who moved to other places.

GEN-FF-L (newsgroup fr.rec.genealogie, that is, genealogy in French, mostly
active in France). This is a rootsweb list. Most messages are
about France.
