The steady rock

I was a rocky island, lost in sea,
Anchored as a rock could ever be,
Waiting nobody on my sand.
Just a gull sometimes happened.

Under a steady rock,
A volcano can sleep a lot.

A wave running from the sea, blue and white,
Carried your ship along my hidden side.
Our first meeting was too short,
Tide happened and set you forth.

Under a steady rock,
A volcano can need a lot.

You came back again to know my secrets
The more you wanted, the more you could get.
The volcano in me waked up,
My temperature slowly rised up.

Under a steady rock,
A volcano can erupt.

Thanks to you, I am now alive,
But I need more to survive.
I don't want to explode,
And to waste your love.
Sacrifice your body in a game,
And fall into my licking flames.

Under a steady rock,
A volcano can explode.
Under a steady rock,
A volcano can live a lot,
A volcano can live a lot.
