Use this page for custom versions. It can be the GFNA database linked to the Beauregard genealogy or to your own ancestry or for some specific research. Otherwise, select the relevant page.

The database is now available only on a Flash Drive instead of a CD or DVD. This means some changes for some users.

You now need either an Internet connection and unzipping application (like 7-zip which is available for many kinds of computers) or
A Flash Drive and USB connector. Most users will prefer the zipped version as it is much faster to copy the zipped files and unzip than to copy a directory with the individual files.
Files are now named .html instead of .htm. If you copy to the same directory, files will be duplicated, so you have to copy to a new directory if you are upgrading.

Also, some custom versions are not delivered on a disk. A report can be sent by email, including a list of your ancestors.

To get your copy, send your payment to Denis Beauregard. There is no sales tax to add and credit card payment are accepted only through the Paypal buttons. There are 3 payment methods:

The update is a special offer for those who already purchased a previous version at the full price. Since 2010, you can purchase more than one update.

Genealogy of a Beauregard lineage. The genealogical lineage following the Beauregard ancestry, father to father. The Beauregard genealogy on a CD is discontinued. Also available for a fathers or mothers lineage in Quebec.

If you paid for a Y-DNA or MT-DNA test at FTDNA (only Y tests like Y-37 or MT like MT Full and only at FamilyTreeDNA.com), I can check and verify your lineage up to the pioneer in New France depending on data availability. This won't apply to a Family Finder test, to research of biological parents, or to other labs like Ancestry, 23andMe, myHeritage or LivingDNA. You must join my project French Heritage DNA project with FTDNA and I also suggest Acadian Heritage, Québec Y-DNA or Québec MT-DNA depending on the early years. Search is usually limited to records in Quebec. You may have to find the most recent part.

General Terms

You buy a copy of the database and its support on a disk, and the authorization for copying it on ONE computer (individual version) or many computers in a single room (multi-computer version or public library version). You don't have the right to make otehr copies, resale, distribute or share with others the content of the database, including on electronic format, on a web site, on paper or any other possible mean. You cannot resale the support or rent the disk. Guaranty is limited to the replacement of a defective support if not readable on a recent and working computer.

Updates

When you purchase a CD-ROM, you can purchase other copies (update) later for a smaller price. This is a complete replacement for the whole database.

The CD-ROM is refreshed at least once each year. See the history to know about previous updates.

Statistics, lists of corrections, etc.

Each family sheet has a table about ancestors and descendants of that couple. These tables are refreshed for a customized genealogy or the full database.

The list of corrections is built only when there is an official update of the Genealogy of the French in North America. However, the corrections themselves are written directly on the family sheets when they are corrected.
